    1. $32.00 for membership ticket must accompany entries.

    2. All exhibits must be in place by 12:00 noon Monday, except those at other fairs.

    3. Each exhibitor limited to two entries in each individual class. Only one group per class.

    4. No animals are permitted in the show area except for those in the class being exhibited.

    5. To be eligible for competition, whether singly or in groups, animals must be the bona fide property of exhibitors, except where otherwise specified. Certificate of registration or transfer showing ownership must be produced by exhibitor if requested by the superintendent of cattle, unless they are shown in a non-registered class. In the classes for get of sire and produce of dam, animals need not be owned by exhibitors.

    6. Every female over twenty-four months old must have produced a living calf within 12 months or prove to be with calf. Every bull thirty-six months old must have dropped to his service a calf within twelve months previous to the opening dates of the show, to be eligible to compete. A freemartin heifer shall be barred from showing until she has become of such age as to have proven a breeder. No animal which is not entered and shown in single classes shall be permitted to show in groups.

    7. Any exhibitor making a false or misleading statement, exhibiting cattle that have been artificially fitted or treated, showing an animal out of proper class, substituting one animal for another without proper correction of records at the cattle superintendent's office before entering the ring or for any other dishonorable practice, shall forfeit all premiums.

    4. Competitors are required to make statement to the awarding judges of the time of shearing and the length of the wool left on sheep when shorn.

    5. The same rule governing time of shearing has been adopted by this Society as govern the shearing of sheep to exhibited at the state fair.

    6. Breeder's young flock shall consist of one ram, two yearling ewes, and two ewe lambs, all owned and bred by the exhibitor.

    Book 104 - AMATEUR WINE

    Judging will be Wednesday, September 6 at 12 noon

    RULES:

    1. Wines may be made from grapes, other fruits, vegetables, grains, other suitable ingredients, or blends of those.

    2. Ingredients may be fresh, canned, dried, concentrated, or otherwise preserved.

    3. Wines must be amateur homemade by the process of fermentation and cannot be blended with commercial wines.

    4. All wines entered must be made by the exhibitor named. If multiple parties make the wine together, only one person may be the exhibitor and winner.

    5. Exhibitors may enter only one bottle per class. Exception is class 8 where 2 different varieties may be entered.

    6. Exhibits should be submitted in a clear, smooth glass bottle of approximately 26 ounces.

    7. Bottles should have nearly straight side and a top which can be removed without tools except a corkscrew. Capsules, foil, or other seals cannot be used over the bottle closure.

    8. Bottles should be filled within 1" or 2" of the fully installed top or cork.

    9. Any exhibitor who would like to pick up their wine after judging should bring a bottle of colored liquid (similar in color to the wine entered.)

    10. NO LABELS.

    11. Wines must be in place by Tuesday, September 7, at 12 noon.

    The American Flag and Bible (in closed position, covered with clear plastic or left uncovered) to be displayed (The Grange Flag and State Flag optional.)

    Granges must use theme on September Grange Monthly, but may interpret and display theme in any manner desired.

    Background and decorations for Grange exhibits may be muslin, bunting, paper, crepe paper, material or artificial flowers or other materials and will count only as it adds to the artistic effect and good taste in the exhibit.

    Exhibits in which the specifications are not entirely fulfilled will not be disqualified, but will be graded accordingly.
